HP buys Palm and brings WebOS on tablets and netbooks

Palm recently was not in good sailing waters, despite good success with the innovative Pre captivating Palm Operating System WebOS. Palm’s management had decided to sell the company, leaving among the potential buyers imagine that there could be companies specializing in the field of smartphones like HTC.

Surprisingly, however HP has announced that he had bought Palm and with it one of the most important assets, the operating system WebOS. Palm knew they possess something very attractive, but did not have the financial capacity to carry WebOS on larger devices, a little ‘how did Apple iPhone OS all’iPad adapting. HP’s management took the ball and has already declared its intention to double investment on WebOS to use even on tablets and netbooks produced.
