Lenovo IdeaPad U300s Ultrabook 300x214 Lenovos IdeaPad U300s Ultrabook Review, Price and SpecsLenovo’s IdeaPad U300s is the latest edition to the burgeoning Ultrabook portable laptop market. Lenovo’s stylish U300s Ultrabook is one of the best-looking Windows laptops and matches Apple’s MacBook Air nearly spec for specifications. Lenovo’s stylish Ultrabook aims to compete head-to-head with Apple’s popular ultralight. It’s slim, light and made from premium magnesium alloy, and looks remarkably similar to Apple’s MacBook range.

The Lenovo’s IdeaPad U300s is the coolest-looking of the new generation of Ultrabook laptops. The IdeaPad U300s promises Sandy Bridge ULV processors (a 1.6 GHz Core i5-2457M and a 1.8 GHz Core i7-2677M), up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, up to a 256GB SSD, a 13.3″ 1366×768 display, a 720p webcam, and up to 8 hours of battery life in a 2.9-pound 0.6-inch thick package. With the exception of screen resolution, it’s roughly in 13″ MacBook Air territory, but it also includes an HDMI port, a built-in gigabit ethernet port (wi-fi and bluetooth are a given), and one USB 3.0 port. With a starting price of $1,199, the Lenovo IdeaPad U300s isn’t as affordable as Ultrabook enthusiasts would like.
