Design
This device have sliding mechanism design, it’s square body remember us to LG viewty. The keypad made from glossy material. Comfortable enough for they with big thumbs, but it can make slickly and leave finger track, cause the material. otherwise, the camera lens that put in backcover with flash light and mini mirror has protected by sliding mechanism. it’s 262.144 colour TFT screen has good work, like other korea’s phone screen. Moreover come with QVGA (240×320) screen resolution on 2.4 inches diagonal. About user interface, still same as other LG’s cellphones.
Main Feature
LG looks seriously want to “married” phone device with pocket digital camera. This thing has showed with applicate famous optic from German, Schneider Kreuznach, on it’s lens. Top quality warrant in photografi since 20th century. The software has prepared completely, include is autofocus, iso choice, and Exposure Level (EV). Some function isn’t put on menu option. They are flash, macro mode and shake reduction. Their settings came in D-pad, with gallery option for showing photo result.
The result is good enough for cellphone camera level with 5 megapixel resolution cmos sensor. Even indoor shooting with flash can be well done. Maximum resolution that can be reached is 2592 x 1946 pixel. picture will be sharper. certainly only for printing on photopaper. About video recording, KC 550 can record video with resolution up to 720×480 pixel (WVGA). Just only it doesn’t have maximum frame rate, it only have 15 fps, especially for highest resolution ( WVGA ). For enjoy it , you can show video recorded on tv screen with TV out feature.
Music Player
Good LG’s music player has prepared on this cellphone. Ability to play mp3, wav, aac++, wma and ra has proofed over latest product. It’s problem only on shorting sistem that is not supported ID3 tag. So music file will be shorted by file name, didn’t based on included
Internet and Connectivity
No problem for connectivity. This cellphone can be connected to PC over USB easily. No need special driver. Internal and external memory can be read by system directly. Otherwise, bluetooth also has prepared, completed with A2DP profile for hearing music wirelessly. But for data transfer this cellphone only have GPRS channel.
Battery
LG KC550 came with 900 mAh lithium ion battery. Not big, but able enough to supply cellphone work and camera feature during 2 days in a charging.
