Nokia N97 Phone Review and Specifications

At Nokia World 2008 in Barcelona Spain and under the slogan Desktop-Laptop-Pocket, Nokia unveiled the first high-end Nseries device with Touch Screen and QWERTY keyboard based on Symbian 5th Edition. This Multimedia Computer as Nokia calls all Nseries devices, features a state of the art spesifications that simply creates the most powerfull mobile phone ever made.

Nokia unveiled the Nokia N97, the world’s most advanced mobile computer, which will transform the way people connect to the Internet and to each other. Nokia is also proud of its new ’social location’ feature which, using the on-board compass and AGPS, will keep your mates informed of your movements. And if you want more serious business extras, there’s push e-mail and Nokia messaging. The Nokia N97 also supports TV Out, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio, and a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. Runs on Quadband GSM networks and supports 3G/HSDPA.

• Based on Symbian S60 5th Edition and comes with loads of applications such as Nokia Maps, Nokia Messenger, Share Online along with Nokia Music Service and Ovi online services

All in all, Nokia N97 looks like the iPhone, Google G1 Phone and the Blackberry Storm has a new competitor to watch out for. The Nokia N97 is expected to be available the first half of 2009 for 550 euros.
